SPINOSAURUS

The most formidable predator in Africa-with Carcharodontosaurus (Shark-Toothed Lizard). Spinosaurus is 15 to 18 meters long, and it is 8 to 9 tons in weight, based on Del Sasso's find in 2006. The sail works like a fan and it can be two meters! Spinosaurus lived 130 to 80 million years ago, from the early and middle cretaceous. The Spinosaurus (Spine or Thorn lizard) lives in a swap or scrubland. This is the most famous member of its family. Its family include:

Therizinosaurus

Therizinosaurus (Scythe lizard) is the oddest of all dinosaur species. It has a 1.8 meter long claw to grab branches since it was a herbivore, not a predator. This dinosaur is 35 feet long and 8.800 pounds (4000 kgs) i weight. This Therizinosaurus lived in Mongolia, 75 million years ago.

The dinosaur's head is small and has a big body. Its formidable opponent is the Tarbosaurus (Alarming Lizard). It is also a star of Walking With Dinosaurs Special: The Giant Claw

Orca

This Dolphin is found all over the oceans of the world! It is known as the Killer Whale. The length of this cetacean is seven to ten meters and weighs 3 tons. The diet of this dolphin are fish, seals, penguins, belugas, narwhals, sharks and even huge baleen whales like the Humpback Whale! Orcas are known as very intelligent mammals and can perform in shows. Orcas hunt in packs called pods.

Carnotaurus

This dinosaur has stubby arms yet powerful legs to hunt. Its arms are useless. The most distinctive feature is the bull-like horn on its head. This dinosaur lived 110 to 90 million years ago in the Mid Cretaceous Period. It is 8 meters long and weighs 2 tons. Maybe, the horns are used for attracting mates and to fight other Carnotaurus.

Its prey are 12-meter Saltasaurus and 10-meter Amargasaurus

Ankylosaurus

This dinosaur, known to have body armor and a clubbed tail. Ankylosaurus grows from four to eleven meters in length, weighs four tons and grows from one to three meters in height. This dinosaur lived in the U.S.A and Canada. It lived 80 to 65 million years ago. This dinosaur's tail club can crush the enemy's leg. Ankylosaurus is the equalivent of armadillos that lived today.

American Mastodon

This Mastodon lived 12.000 years ago. It has a flexible trunk and has a long tusk. There is a species of Mastodon that has a shoulder height of 5 meters! The Mastodon is an ancestor of the modern, two species of the elephants alive today. Its length is about five meters and weighs about 5 tons.
